Disney Frozen Kids

This fall, young performers are invited to let their talents shine in our Saturday Theatre Camp featuring Disney’s Frozen KIDS! Designed for ages 7-11, this extended weekend program gives students the chance to grow in confidence, creativity, and stage presence as they work toward a fully staged performance of the beloved musical.

Over the course of the fall season, campers will spend Saturdays singing, dancing, acting, and building friendships in a fun, supportive environment. With iconic characters like Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Sven—and favorite songs such as “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Let It Go”—this production offers an unforgettable theatre experience for both participants and audiences.

Campers will be guided by experienced teaching artists who focus on skill-building, ensemble work, and personal expression. Along the way, they’ll explore teamwork, imagination, and the joy of bringing a story to life on stage.

The program culminates in a final public performance that celebrates each camper’s hard work and growth. It’s the perfect way for young artists to step into the spotlight while making lasting memories.

Enrollment is limited, so reserve your child’s place today for a magical fall filled with music, movement, and theatrical fun.

Youth Education consists of training in singing, dancing, acting and technical design for ages 7-17. Program includes learning how to audition, rehearsals, and a minimum of two full-staged performances. Directed by our professional teaching artists and musical directors. One of the primary goals is to build a community of young performers and provide a safe environment for children to develop teamwork skills and confidence in front of a live audience. One show of each camp is provided complimentary for area youth-at-risk as part of the For Kids By Kids program.

In addition to building social and communication skills overall, involvement in drama courses and performance has been shown to improve students’ self-esteem as well as their confidence in their academic abilities. The act of performing can help students and youth recognize their potential for success and improve their confidence. (American Alliance for Theatre and Education)

Cognitive benefits include improvements in memory, word generation, and comprehension and problem solving through memorizing scripted lines and stage direction. Lung capacity is increased through the breath control involved in blocking exercises and singing and through the physical exertion of movement, muscle strength and flexibility are improved.
